All the babies she had look adorible. There was one death though, rest in peace baby#2. The other two are doing good and well, I might keep one for myself. I haven't given them names yet so if you want to, you can write down a name and stick it in my mail box on Tuesday.
Clair is back to being skinny again, but something seems to be bothering her. Possibly the death of her child. Mark is happy here, he's almost to the point were he'll walk up to me and let me pick him up. Clair is almost like that too. They are happy and conforible in their home.
The cats love them like family. Little Miss Priss will watch over them and make sure their ok, thats one of the signs i knew something was going on. Handsome will sleep by their cage and be kinda like a guardain, it's so cute. Baby Girl will check up on them. And Sosha doesn't care about them and only want me, kinda ironic. But even with that, she will watch over them and make sure they are doing good. All the cats seem to care and are unhappy that I give them privacy, I put a towel over the cage so it doesn't scare the babyies.

Sparky
Sparky loves his new home and is content with everything. We found out he's really good with Sadee and Alice. He now has a girlfriend named Spook. And is a colico. His personality has changed a bit. He's spunky, a firecracker, and is a big snuggle bug. Hopefully he comes to the class soon. He misses the class and sends his luv!!

Observations
As a class, i noticed that we all have things in common. Not only the fact that we have and love animals, we are all becoming close friends and talk to each other like we have known each other for a long time(the shy ones don't exactly talk but their body languge says it too). We work well together and are united by the power of friendship.
My group as i see them:
Sara- true friend and a leader, listener
Rachal- loveable and fun sized, true frind
Kayley- listener and true friend
Malissa- personallity and true friend
Me- firecracker
We all get along and work hard. We like to make things fun to an extent and draw a line to work and play.

Clicker Training
This morning, 10/13/09, we watched a movie on clicker training. I made connections as to this career field and my personal life for this training.
"How can this training be used in this field?"
Clicker training can be used to train all species of animals/mammals. It makes it easier to train than voice commands because you can use Que objects to let the animal know what you want it to do. It helps the animal/mammal be more observant and aware of its surroundings. Plus it makes it easier to work with the patient.
"How can this training be used in your personal life?"
I can clicker train my boyfriends dogs, because i don't have one, to behave and not bark at visitors. They have issues with listening to their owner. They seem to act out for attention, and when they want something. Saidee is 13 years old and I'm testing the theory "You can't teach an old dog new tricks." Alice is much younger and doesn't listen. They are loving dogs but need training.
The Trix they will learn:

- High five
- No begging
- Stay
- Sit
- Lay down
- Go to the bed room
- Shake
- No barking
- Fetch
- Walk on a leash without tangling or tugging me or his family up.

The First Four Weeks
I, Crystal Poorman, have survived the first four weeks in my Pre-Veterinarian Technician class. The things I've seen and learned a lot and went through, a few bad but mainly good, still leaning the balance between home life and work life. Our group has fun and knows how to be behave when needed. We are funny(looking).
"How are you doing?"
I think I'm doing really well with my work but I should ask for help more often. I do need help sometimes but i get embarrass to ask and i get discouraged. The class work that's hands on is easier and i can comprehend it better. But one thing i do know is that i try to always have a positive attitude and help others, I'm good at that.
"Where/how are you excelling?"
My vocabulary and reading is excelling faster than I expected. Plus my confidence is growing because of my group. My math is growing too but not as fast. I'm not anti-social anymore, a weird stage in my life. I now am a firecracker in my classes but i know when to work and when to joke around. My animal social skills are better too.
"Where/how can you work on/at? (What do you think you need to be working on?)"
I think I need to work on communications with my group because I don't talk to them as much as I should. I need to work on my spelling and reading, my spelling is so bad even i wouldn't read it. (Just kidding.) Also being more positive about my life, I'm not that positive as a person. I can work on all of this now by trying harder and being all i can be.
" Where/how are you helping others succeed?"
I help others by turning their frown upside down and when they ask a question I answer with what I understand or know from the class. I try and give helpful advice for their problems and I tell them it may not work. I try to be the class clown and make people smile, it makes me happy.

Kitten Observations
My observations on Sparky, Leo, and Sissy have always changed. They grow drasticlly into their personallitys. They all seem like a family. One day they hate each other, the next you can't split them apart.
Sissy: The Love Bug
The first day Sissy was in the classroom she didn't want to be touched and or messed with. She was tempurementel and easy to scare. A few students refused to touch her for fear they might get harmed or something. The second day she warmed up to the students and wanted to explor, without the dogs. She took a bold step out and wanted to be knowtist. From then on she has been more open to change and playing with things she shouldn't be playing with. Like the cords. She enjoys prancing on the tables and having everyone look at her. Her brain compasity has increased too. She easly out smarts Sparky and Leo. Mildly energetic and is a snugglle bug to who lets her snuggle. Plus she likes to meow, why though? Observations will crack this mystory box!
Leo: A little Rolly Polly
The first day Leo was shaking and wanted nothing to do with the students, like Sissy. His spunk was shown through on the second day. He was jumping aroud and pouncing on Sissy and Sparky. Not to forget that he was trying to play with the lockers and made everyone laugh. He reminded me of a rolly polly because he was always on the go regardless as to what was going on. Even though the fire alarm he was trying to escape from under the scrubs of the student who was holding him. He entagonized Sparky and Sissy to play with him. He to had a thing for cords and the jacket that hung on the back of the teachers chair. One things for sure this cat won't let anything keep him down, Charlie and Daise pinded him and he somehow got away. That was intresting to watch and assusing to remember. Plus his cute extra toe.
Sparky: A Little Firecracker
His first day was different from Leo's and Sissy's even though he was scared, let me hold him for awhile and then got fussy. By day two, it was like he was on coffee, he bounced off the walls. Not only that if you picked him up he would snuggle. Besides that he somewhat was an explorer, he likes to hide. One day we found him between the wall and a dog bed. For the fire drill i had him and he kept trying to poke his head out of my scrubs. It was funny. He has a gift of making people laugh and brightening their day. He tryed to stay away from the dogs because he didn't like being licked. He bolts away from situatutions that he doesn't want to be in and love to climb on his old cage. He only meows when somethings wrong, wants something, or just wants attenchion. He too has a thing for cords.
The class has got the spark and spunk from the teacher, who is very observent herself. BUSTED!!!!!!! She's one of the best and i wouldn't have it any other way!!!! :)
